Best K-Pop Group Acronyms

1. F.Cuz

This boy group under CAN Entertainment, has by far one of the best group names in K-pop history. Before I found out what the name meant, I had some ideas, but never in my wildest dreams did I think it would stand for "For Century Ultimate Zest." I'll let you take a minute to let that soak in. I would love to shake the hands with the individual who came up with this name because it is 50% hilarity and 50% brilliance. Any group that has the the word "zest" is a winner in my book.

2. EXO Twelve-membered group EXO stands for "EXOPLANET," meaning a planet that is out of our solar system. Who could beat that? The oversized boy group is made up of Korean and Chinese boys and produced by S.M. Entertainment. They are divided into two sub-groups, Exo-K, which stands for Exo-Korea and who promote in Korea, and Exo-M, which stands for Exo-Mandarin and promote in China.

3. BEAST (B2ST)

Cube Entertainment BEAST stands for "Boys of East Standing Tall," which would be more suitable if the guys were taller in height but I'm being picky. Their other interchangeable group name, B2ST stands for "Boys 2 Search for Top," which was chosen to represent their other occupation before becoming idols. Their sole job before becoming a big hit group, was to search for Big Bang's TOP whenever he went missing for 10 minutes or longer. You gotta start from the bottom before you get to the top-pun intended.

4. Teen Top

Rookie Group Teen Top stands for "(T)eenager (E)moBoys (E)moticon (N)ext Generation (T)alent (O)bject (P)raise"; I couldn't make this stuff up if you paid me to. Made up of 6 pretty boys, the group is signed under T.O.P Media and are doing quite well for themselves. The "emoboys" just held their first European tour entitled, "TEEN TOP SHOW! Live tour in Europe 2013"and set a new decibel record for their concert in Paris.
