Reasons Why I Love K-Pop

One fine day during the summer 2015, I (not exactly) discovered something amazing. It was like a whole different planet. The people were amazing. They were talented, smart, thoughtful, caring, the list goes on! It made me appreciate this world a whole lot more. It was my cousin that brought me that new world; and that new world is called K-Pop.

I know it may seem like I exagerrated when I said that K-pop made me appreciate the world more, but trust me, it really did. K-Pop cheered me up when I felt down. So here are the reaons why I like K-Pop;

The idols of K-Pop work really hard even before they debut. They have to audition in different companies, and most of the time people get rejected. When they actually get into a company, they train for hours and go on strict diets. Some even drop out of school just to be able to focus on their training. Even then, there is no guarantee that they would actually debut. If they do, after they debut, they have to work even harder to satisfy the people and make them happy and at the same time reach the top and stay at the top. They sacrifice their time with their families and friends for hours of hardcore dance and vocal practices and sometimes people don't even appreciate their hard work! They barely get any time to eat and sleep because of their busy schedules.

I truly admire their friendship with their other bandmates. Although they weren't all friends when they first started out in their company, they still managed to create this unbreakable bond between all of them. They aren't afraid to show how close they are and how much they all love each other as brothers/sisters. They all are so open to one another; they share secrets and have sime inside jokes that even their biggest fans can not understand. They also refuse to leave each other behind. The best thing abouth their friendship is that they are willing to learn another language, a foreign language, just to be able to communicate more comfortably with each other because their are some groups with members that come from different countries.

Another thing is that they are all so multi-talented. I feel like such a potato next to tem. They sing, act, dance, model, play instruments, do sports, and do alot of things that I never expected them to be able to do. Well, I guess it is part of their training to develope and enhance their unique talents and skills.

Fans are really important to the idols. They are the ones that motivate idols to work even harder. An idol's way to show how thankful they are to us fans is by doing what we call "fan service". One of the reasons why I love them is because they know how to make fan's dream come true. They love to give out hugs, handshakes, their signatures, and they even grab some random person in the audience, sing a song for that a person, and grant one special request. They are also very comfortable with the fans and interact wiith them just as how they would interact with their friends.

One last thing is that their songs are meaningful. They aren't like western songs that just keep repeating the same thing over and over again(no offense). They have some deep and inspiring meaning to their lyrics, even if it is an upbeat song. Most songs are about love and I can't help but fangirl whenever I hear my favorite idols singing those songs. I just can't control my feels. Ugh, seriously.

Anyways, that's it, I guess, for "Reasons Why I K-Pop".

Ahnyeong!
